The fish you have adopted is part of an ongoing effort to maintain a healthy musky population in Wisconsin waters.
Each musky stocked in the Chippewa Flowage has a unique tag number to allow officials to track growth and movement throughout the fish’s long life. Adopting a fish with this unique tag number and giving us your name and address allows us to update you on your fish’s growth and location when your fish is recaptured in the future.
The small, fingerling musky you’ve adopted may go on to live for up to 15 years. Thank you for being a part of the Adopt-A-Musky project!
